Dynamic Sender is a feature available in MarketingPlatform, that allows you to assign Sender Details directly from a feed, rather than entering this information manually every time you send out an email campaign.
By using Dynamic Sender, you can modify the standard Sender Fields with dynamic content that will come directly from a previously saved feed link on your account on MarketingPlatform. The following Sender Details will be automatically input from your feed:
- Send From This Name
- Send Reply Emails to
- Email Subject
- Email Preheader
In order to be able to use the Dynamic Sender feature, you must have the corresponding Sender Details defined in your feed and you must have previously saved/loaded the feed on MarketingPlatform.
Please note that it is not mandatory to use the feed in the very campaign you are sending out in order to use the “Dynamic Sender” functionality.
Dynamic Sender Setup
Dynamic Sender Setup can be found under the “Preview and Send” tab when finalizing the send-out of an email campaign.
To enable the option, select “Yes, use Dynamic Sender” and additional text box fields will appear on the right side of the standard Sender Fields (see image below). Newly appearing text boxes will have buttons on the right side accordingly.
Send from this Name
To select the Sender Name, click on the button “Get Name from External Content”, select your feed, and select the corresponding element from the feed, as shown in the images below:
Send Reply Emails To
Repeat the same process to select the Reply-To Email Address: click on the button “Get Reply from External Content” and select the corresponding element from the feed.
Email Preheader
Identically, you can select your Preheader from your external content, as shown in the image below:
Email Subject
As for Email Subject, apart from the dynamic element from your feed, you also have the option to include a static element, which will be followed by the dynamic element. Just fill out the empty text box and click on “Change” to select the dynamic element from your feed.
Once you have finished setting up the Dynamic Sender, you can continue and send your email campaign. The recipients will receive the email campaign with the Sender’s Details as defined in your feed.
Please note that in case you have selected that the campaign should only be posted on social media, then the Dynamic Sender Setup functionally will be disabled by default and will appear as greyed out/locked.
